HELENA WALLBERG

My name is Helena Wallberg, M.Ed. & Special education with 22 years experience of teaching in my home country, Sweden. Formerly with the Swedish National Board of Education, I now work as a teacher trainer and a development consultant. I am the author of several books on assessment, feedback and lesson design, specifically about explicit and differentiated instruction as tools to engage all learners.

Materials, coaching sessions, advisory sessions

I produce materials for implementing change, such as short films, structures for collegial work or texts to discuss. 

I lead group coaching sessions on:

  • Dilemma management

  • Planning, goal setting or organisational programs and visions for inclusive learning environments.

  • Appreciative inquiry sessions

  • Case study sessions for cooperation between teachers and pastoral care

I offer advisory sessions on strategies for the implementation of inclusive action.

My Swedish blog

The aim of the blog is to promote inclusion in schools through concrete materials and descriptions of how to work. I also aim to shift the focus from inclusion as a difficulty to inclusion as an opportunity and a quality enhancer for all children and youths.
